Weekly Wonders!

This Section is for the weekly memes.
A weekly meme is a blog post about a certain topic which you post on a particular day of the week.
There are numerous weekly (and also monthly) memes around the web hosted by different bloggers and quite obviously these memes are very popular among book bloggers.
I've started a few weekly memes on my blog Books Are My Best Friends, some of which are hosted by other bloggers whereas some are my own creation. For the ease of locating them on my blog Weekly Wonders will be pretty helpful.

Here are the memes I post on my blog:

A Brief Description: This idea occurred to me while I was thinking about doing some non-review stuffs on my blog.

What's New will be a weekly blog post where  I'll be blogging about 3 books (each week) that are recently released.
I'll be posting this on every Monday.

A Brief Description: Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!
Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Open to a random page.
  • Share two teaser sentences from somewhere on that page.
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the tile and the author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.

A Brief Description: WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.
To play along, just answer the following three questions!

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finished reading?
  • What do you think you'll read next?

A Brief Description: Feature and Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This blog hop allows bloggers to meet new bloggers and gain new followers! If you're new to this blog hop thing, you can find the details at the blog of the hosts.
The general rules, however, are:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  8. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

A Brief Description: Sunday Series is another weekly meme, to be posted on Sundays, dedicated to the several books belonging to a series of books.
Since majority of the Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal Romance, Contemporary, Dystopia (any other genres too) books are written as series, I thought arranging all books of a particular series in one place will be helpful and nice!

Each week I'll post about one series (I'll pick it randomly) and will post about all the books of the series. My post will include the author bio and short synopsis of each book. Hope you, my readers, will find it interesting! :)
